YASUKO AMANO
Director of TOKYO HOME PIANO LESSONS
Yasuko Amano, founder of Tokyo Home Piano Lessons holds a Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma, a pioneer school for Piano Pedagogy and one of the most renowned in the world.
At Clavier-Werke School of Music in Austin Texas, Yasuko taught piano lessons, and created her own programs and held multiple crucial roles as Director of Group Piano Programs, Director of Adult Student Programs and Director of Ensemble Programs until 2016.
She was an active member of the piano pedagogy scene in the area, chaired numerous festivals and adjudicated many competitions. Her students have won prizes in many contests, and Yasuko was a nominee for the Teacher of the Year Award in Austin in 2016.
Yasuko is a resident of Tokyo, Japan where she serves international communities.

Perfect for beginners and intermediate transfer students! Students will learn piano skills, theory concepts and explore creativity through a wide variety of music genres.
60-minute Lesson
6,500 yen per lesson
Intermediate, Advanced and Adults
Ages 8 & Up
Spending more time with teacher simply means students improve faster. This 60 minute lessons will allow students master various musical concepts thoroughly and help them achieve higher musical goals.
